Can you clarify the question please.

Do you just mean raw power or are you taking into acount other factors?

Mac Foster has to be in there. Never won a fight by anything less than a stoppage.

Perportional to thier size. The hardest hitters Best technique, leverage, most devistating results as a power puncher. The most complete knockout artists the Division has to offer.

In that case some names that I would put up for special mention are:

Bob Fitzsimmons (allowing for his size)

Tommy Burns (allowing for his size)

    Sam Langford

    Jack Dempsey

    Joe Louis

    Sonny Liston

    Mike Tyson

Sadly, he has a point. Perhaps not with Tua specifically (I don't know), but certainly with heavyweights generally.

Additionally, I'm curious. What would be the single most devastating punch in any of these fighters' arsenal? Louis had a hard right hand, but I have seen him get just about the same amout of knockouts with the left hook.

Of course part of what makes these guys such great punchers is the fact that they exceled with a number of key punches but to adress your question:

Bob Fitzsimmons is famed for his right hand body punch as deployed against Corbett and scored a number of key knockouts with it, but from what I have been able to complile it seems that his left hook ended more fights than any other punch.

Sam Langford was just awsome with every punch but it is worth noting that his left hook acounted for Harry Wills only two knockout losses anywhere close to his prime and he didn't know what had hit him afterwards either time.

What made Tommy Burns and Jack Dempsey dangerous was their ability to throw verry short punch combinations in verry little space. I am not clear on what Tommy Burns pet punch was but in Jack Dempseys case it was clearly the left hook.

In Joe Louis's case you have just about answered the question yourself. It was his right cross but he was prety damn good with all of them.

In Mike Tyson's case I would have to say the right uppercut.

I think a case could be made.

Although Marciano was not a finisher in the usual sense his execution with that right hand that seperated Walcott from the title was picture perfect.

In terms of single punches we might also consider Ingemar Johansens right hand.

One side of the argument, but then like Ron Lyle he never kod a top rated fighter, does that matter?
If not maybe we should put Lamar Clark up?

Fitz kod Corbett by feinting a right to the head causing Corbett to bring his hands up ,Fitz ,changed foot position shot his right to the heart and followed with a left to the solar plexus.
Fitz kod Maher with one right hand.
