If it were possible to go back in time and stage tournaments between all the HW champions in their prime, you can bet there would be some big surprises in the results.

There would be a few in the top tier you would never have guessed would be there. Marvin Hart might even surprise.

There would also be some customary top tens who would wind up near the bottom.

I think Fitz, Liston and Jeffries would wind up a lot higher than most would think.

I think Frazier and maybe Foreman would wind up lower.

    It's all speculation.

    What do you think.

We don't need any more top ten lists, i just wonder who you think would really surprise, one way or the other.

I'm going to get hate for this! But Vitali i think would do well prime for prime against most. Some of these smaller HWs everyone you mentioned wouldnt be able to handle his size, speed, power and durability. I'm no Klitard. I'm a lewis fan and he won the fight.

Ali - does well. finds a way to beat everyone.
marciano - finishes lower than people expect
louis - does what people expect. I think would manage the bigger guys. get inside and bombs left and right
demsey - bossed. much worse than expectations
    foreman - lower than exectation
johnson - does ok. wins more than he loses. manages the big guys but not the well balanced louis, lewis, ali
fraizer - does ok on determination. maybe lower than expected
    lewis - does well
wlad - worse than expectations. gets dropped alot H2H

    theres more but im bored!

    Good input.
I agree with just about everything you posted, except maybe Marciano and Ali.
I think Marciano would do well and Ali not as well as expected. He wouldn't be near the bottom but not at the top either.
    Maybe I'm wrong.

Lionel Butler crushes Dempsey, sees him driven before him, and hears the lamentations of his women.

Hmm, well, I don't quite know where to start but I'll give it a go:

    1. Noticing half a worm in your sandwich
    2. Falling off a chair in a dream
    3. Noticing a worm in your sandwich
    4. Hoovering something up unexpectedly
    5. Watching Jess Willard amble and gasp simultaneously in an unexpected display of coordination
    6. Potatoes boiling over
    7. Remembering you had a bath running
    8. Discovering it's one of those disgusting chocolates
    9. Being poked in the ribs
    10. Dog barking out of the blue

    What Foreman did to Frazier
What Barrera did to The Prince
    What Ali did to Foreman
What Holyfield did to Tyson, and
    What Lewis did to Tyson

It is well known that Frazier couldn't have beaten anyone he didn't actually beat so I doubt there would be any surprises from him.

We know Marciano would be beaten by a few of the big'uns but it would still be shocking to witness, a bit like watching your dad getting raped.

Valuev would probably beat Willard at pretending to box in the most damage-free contest since Walker-Greb II.

There is perhaps an outside yet realistic chance that Louis would have his **** pushed in by Johnson...

... And Ali's by Holmes too.

Optimus Prime Joe Frazier beats everyone but Mike Tyson, including Jorge Foreman.

Alot of old men would be surprised to see Fitz, Jeffries, Dempsey and Tunney get out classed by everyone else
