While I agree Leonard was a great fighter, he had a short career, and two questionable/controversial outcomes--the win over Hagler and the draw in the Hearns rematch. He defeated a sluggish weight drained Duran on short notice in the No Mas rematch. But, in a H2h fight, I would favor him over Mayweather and Pacquiao. Spinks also had a short career and I have to ask if longevity and durability come into play when considering all-time greatness? Archie Moore and Ray Robinson fought over 200 fights each--that has to count for something.

Then, there is the question of PEDs, and how that may have elevated a fighter's career. Roy Jones, Evander Holyfield, Mosley, Fury, Canelo...all have been linked to PED use or failed tests. How about Aaron Pryor's special water that may have given him the boost he needed to defeat Arguello? Do we include these names in the P4p discussion--how much did the substances aid in their success?

    Some others worth mentioning:

    * Panama Al Brown has the length, grace and toughness to give anyone at bantamweight a metric ****-ton of trouble.
    * I wouldn't hate Lennox Lewis's chances against any heavyweight in history.
    * Mike McCallum at 154lbs is a pretty beastly proposition, so he's getting included.

Pacquiao and Floyd’s best weights pfp were below 147. I don’t think Leonard was ever like Floyd at 130.

Floyd never fought anyone on Leonard's level between 130 - 140.

Leonard never fought anyone like Floyd unless you’re counting the two bit version that is his dad.

I noticed Sandy Sandler isn't being mentioned here. Is that a footage problem or does he just come up slightly short compared to the other all time h2h greats?

I would like to make one of those lists but I just don't have the time to sit down and think one through enough.. they can't be done lightly .. with respect I don't think it would look anything like yours , there's too many ommissions and too many modern fighters that i dont think are deserving on it.. i mean floyd i can't stand, he was an absolute queen.. he wouldn't have fought the weight disparities or primes that greats of the past did.. he waited Pac out & cried about a young Alvarez having 2lbs.. don't get me wrong there are many modern Fighters I am a fan of Holyfield, Pac, Hopkins, Chocolatito, Loma, Oscar etc.. but overall i prefer the same day weigh in, pre PED, less weight division eras.
