I generously put Williams ahead of Cotto and Pavlik to give him spots
7-8 as maximum. You have to be kidding by putting Willimas ahead of
Mosley or Marquez. I can find you at least 3-4 boxers outside 135-160
who deserve better spot than him on p4p list.

So again Williams belongs to p4p top 10, his #3 spot is joke,
somewhere between 6-9 is a right place for him with 6 being VERY genours.

 

Marquez moved up and lost to a guy with a two-year layoff... Williams moved up and fought a guy with a two-year lay-off and won. It might not be your preference, but it's not laughable.

Shane lost to Cotto and beat Mayorga and beat margo by KO. Not bad. But he hasn't fought a lot lately, partly because he's ducked Williams. They are the same division, but paul has moved up farther and won. Again, a matter of preference, but nothing laughable about it.


It may not seem like a good pick, just because you may not like his style, but he proves his **** in the ring. Period.

So if we can look on two aspects: quality of competition and who got ass kicked by who then

Pavlik getting ass kiceked by Hopkins (who still is considered top 5 p4p) looks better
to me than PW getting ass kicked by Quintana who is barely top5 WW, also PW
win over Martinez (who never really won any real title before) is really questionable.

As the level of competition and achievements: is beating inactive Wright (age 39)
and Philips (age 40) and especially Andy Kolle ... all fighters far AWAY from any serious
p4p status .... as big achievement to warrant #3 p4p spot??? ... or even remotely
better than latest wins of Mosley or Marquez?

 

Getting your ass kicked is 108-120 or 110-118 or being KO'd or TKO"d

Williams just got beat, and basically sent back down to 147, and Hopkins will not fight anybody that's a threat, like Dawson or Bute.
