    :nono No.

I am biased as hell. Admittedly so.

But that doesn't stop me from being objective about him when analyzing his achievements against others. You can say he's being overrated, but what proff do you have, other than the fact that he lost to Quintana three years and six fights ago at 147... And then had a close fight with a guy who hadn't lost in ten years, who very few people wanted to fight.

You can't use the word proof in a matter like this. Makes no sense.

Anyways, him being ranked #3 is pretty good proof if you wany any.

I would have honestly put him at 4.

But no one except Philla has even attempted to say who should go ahead of him and why. Only moaning abitching about him being too high.

    Based on what?

Who belongs above him and why?

Think about this for a second. If we are going on career, then that's one thing, but are we talking about recent achievements, or how good you percieve a fighter without them actually fighting certain people?

Because if you talk about recent achievements, what has Floyd done over the past two years except beat a guy much lighter than him? Yet, because of the perception that he is that good, and on past achievement, people rate him at #2.

    4?!

Based over his wins over the ATG Quintana and Wrinkly Wright?

Based on a 147lb fighter who, over the past three years has had:

    1 victory at 147
    1 victory at 154
    3 victories at 160

Yes, he is still a 147lb. fighter who only weighs in at 157 when he fights at 160.

And why is everyone all of a sudden trying to **** on Winky? That Winky win was better than Floyd-JMM, or Pac-Oscar and Pac-Hatton. Those fights were bigger events, but the caliber of opposition wasn't any better to say the least.

I would have Pacquiao, Floyd (even if it was a smaller man, it was only two divisions apart and against a p4p top fighter, in a very, very dominant perfomance), BHop (Pavlik, Winky, Tarver, Ornelas - all in great fashion + close fight with highly ranked p4p Calzaghe), Mosley, JMM, Dawson, Wladimir, Vitali, Haye off the top of my head. Pwill has Margarito + Winky. I had Martinez beating him and he lost to Quintana aswell. Both guys who weren't ranked anywhere near top 10.

What a load of ****,how is he a 147 fighter when he hasnt fought at that weight in years? thats like saying Pac is a lightweight cause he can make 135 if he wants to.

And how is beating a guy that is in his late thirties and is coming of two years of inactivity a better win than Pac beating Hatton who was coming of a dominant win over Paula and was considered the top guy at 140 a weight where he had never lost before.

seriously i doubt PW can make 147 regardless of what he and his promoters say.

Even if he can make the weight, there's a serious chance that he would be easier to beat at 147 than at 154 because he would be drained. He hasn't fought at 147 in a pretty long time.

pac moved up because he wanted to.

Paul moved up because the top 147's wouldn't fight him. Only a dumb-ass hoe like you wouldn't be able to see this.

And the Pac-Hatton victory is debatable. But the pac-oscar one is not.

    Other than that.. Points taken:good

neither of those are debateable man. Both those wins are better than PW's win over Winky.
