top20 p4p according to a panel of 28 boxing writers

How does the points system work? Does Froch not being listed mean not one of those writers put him in the top 20?

Its a weird list. A lot of omissions. Some guys higher than I would expect. It's a strange science, this list making.

Its funny how you agree with someone that PW is "overrated" yet you complain that Froch doesn't "crack the top 21 but Ward does" and Froch was 8 seconds away from losing to Taylor and alot off people thought Froch lost the Dirrell fight!!! :huh

I see your points about Froch. I don't think they just look at W's and L's. If they did, I can't see how some other guys would make the list, and others do not.

 

All the crying in the world isn't going to help Froch. He's a good fighter, but that doesn't change the fact that two of his best wins were against a faded Taylor and an inexperienced Dirrell. And he was very close to losing both those fights. Ward took Kessler apart. You can ***** and moan about fouls all you want, but it's clear as day to anyone with two eyes that Kessler simply got outboxed. Anyway, Froch has a great opportunity to win over some of his critics being that he's in this tourney.

 

I also think Froch deserves at least a mention, but nothing in the top 10. And not nearly enough to ralley constitute a true snubbing.

BHop's last fight was agains Ornelas Before that he has beaten 2 guys he forced to move up in weight (kind of the opposite of P4P), has lost to Calzaghe (who was also moving up in weight), beat an unmotivated and washed up Tarver and lost twice to Jermain Taylor.

How the **** is that Top 5 P4P??? Mayweather at least DOMINATED JMM, who was currently top 1 or 2 P4P and proved he hadn't lost a step. :deal

 

PW has beaten every fighter he has faced!!! So does that not deserve a high ranking and the fact that these were good fighters!?!?

If you wanna complain about someone then Bhop's lack of activity is something to complain about!!!

I'll say yes Froch probably deserves to be on the list but if thats your argument then you have no right to say anything about PW!!!!!
