Valid point there.....Bob is mostly about bob. And money.....so Floyd and Bob have some things in common.

Agree. It's Arums attempt to deflect some of the crap being directed at Pac in lieu of the rumors that FLoyd is willing to accept a 14 day window.

Hi risk, very low reward. Clottey can upset anyone and makes a real tough fight too, just ask Margo & Cotto, he also beat Judah & Corrales with ease. Pac has nothing to gain from this fight, not ppv, legacy, title...

    Id prefer bradley at 140.

Probably one of the best available fights for Pacquiao at WW given the circumstances.

It took 90 posts but finally somebody clued in. Seriously doubt this happens, that aside. Roach knows better than to let Pacquiao get in with a Welterweight as durable as Clottey. If for some reason they do let this fight go through Manny can lose, and lose he might.

Clottey kicked Baldomirs ass. He would also beat JMM, Hatton, ODLH (the one that fought Floyd), Judah, Mitchell, basically whoever Floyd has fought head to head.

    Tough one for Manny.

Nothing wrong with being about money. It is just that Arum keeps throwing these BS smoke screens. Quit tossing this on Mayweather. Say you are wringing every dime out of your fighters by matching them up together. Notice that EVERY fighter that Mayweather has "ducked" has been out of the Top Rank camp Margarito, Cotto, Pac. It is all crap.

Mosely had a loose tooth and was up at 154 barely squeaking by Mayorga.

Paul Williams had no name yet. Now he does, but he has to make 147 again. I still don't know if he is a PPV draw.

Floyds name is in the mix b/c of the news that is on top of everyones "water cooler" discussion lists. And the is the nail in the coffin for the May vs PAC fight. This fight between Manny vs Clottley is being proposed as a direct effect of the mega fight falling through. Me bringing up Floyd is in response to the logic or lack there of, regarding the post made that I responded to.

Clottey is the only fighter left. Unless he would take on Paul Williams.

I'm guessing the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight would make more for Arum. Not sure though...
