Not sure but I think Pereira. Topuria has more speed and he throws compact punches that catch guys off guard. I am actually more impressed by Topuria´s speed more than power. Max has speed but he sacrifices power to achieve this, Topuria can do both.
As much as i love Volk i can't see him doing any better in the rematch. He would also be better off going to 155 to fight guys like Dustin, Charles etc who don't have the technical skills and defence Ilia does,
Alex is the hardest hitting combat sportsman P4P ever, his hook is the most lethal punch in all of combat sports.
Really ? You think he punches harder p4p than Julian Jackson, George Foreman, Dan Henderson, Gerald McClellan etc etc. I think you may be suffering from recency bias.
No way. If we are talking pure punching obviously theres going to be boxers by the dozens who hit harder both in total terms and p4p even right now. Obviously he has good hard kicks too but even then i'm not sure i'd say hes the hardest kicker ever either. Also something to bear in mind with the "p4p" thing, the guy was HUGE for MW and is still very big for LHW, look at the size of him compared to Khalil for example.
Hard to say. Poatan is a big dude for the weight classes hes been fighting at though whereas Ilia isnt. Poatan also hasnt cracked a chin as good as Maxs, not in MMA anyway. One things for sure, Ilia is a much better overall fighter. His base isnt even in striking and hes ****ing elite MMA strikers up standing.
He is a better one punch finisher than Foreman was and has the most devasting hook in the history of combat sports.
Can`t think of many boxers that have many one punch KO`s in today`s boxing world, Inoue? Prime Wilder? Zhang? Bakole? Not a big list at all.
Bit different hitting boxers with boxing gloves vs hitting MMA guys with 4oz gloves and no counts. A big part of Poatans game is him using kicks as well, if he was just purely using punches he would be less effective.
