In boxing, not only can one punch change the fight, it can also change your life, even take it. He has a small time promoter that doesn't know the art of bringing a fighter along. I don't see this as much different than Ortiz having to do his cornerman's job for him. He realized he was in over his head and didn't see a reason to continue. While it indicates he probably doesn't have the drive it takes for boxing we don't know that yet. Better than him have quit at one time or another.
Tor took some hard shots it the last 4th round and I guess he tried to turn it up but felt the momentum from Glazkov building, no one knows how bad a guy is hurt, boxing is a tough game and Hamer was game until he obviously was feeling the pain for him to give up...The guy has put years into this game as a career but felt outgunned and quit before the inevitable, no shame
The 4th didn't even seem that bad. Has there been any word from the Hamer camp yet? Maybe boxing is just a hobby for him that he happens to be pretty good at It also has some extremely delicate glass jaws. That 'sport' is awash with KO's waiting to happen, if only they knew how to punch atsch
Some of us have been telling the world that Glazkov is the best young prospect out there for a couple of years now. Hopefully, people will start listening.
