My stance on Goral @ heavy is well-documented.

    I'm against it.

There was never any point in him leaving Cruiser behind. He wasn't having trouble making weight, AFAIK. It was a paper chase, plain and simple. It isn't just a matter of "He'd never have an honest prayer of beating a Klitschko" - that would lump him in with most other contenders of recent stock. It's "He'd never have an honest prayer of beating a world titlist at heavyweight". He is established in the sense that he's established he can beat Estradas and Maddalones and Walkers and Aguileras...and conditionally Grants and Golotas (condition being they're already shitting in Depends)...and squeak by overrated-to-begin-with Arreolas with multiple trips down ***** Street...and get lavish gifts against Chamberses who themselves belong down under 200... Big whoop. No, I wouldn't say his farcical trip across the unlimited threshold has made him all that relevant - and until he does anything to suggest he could beat a Pulev, let alone a Haye or Povetkin, let alone a Klitschko, I'll continue to regard him as an irrelevant waster of everybody's time.

He never had the makings of an elite heavy. He DID have the makings of a potential unified champ with a nice long reign at Cruiser - and he sucks donkey schlong for not tidying up one division and instead muddying up another to turn a quick buck. Very frustrating.

As for USS - let's not go ahead and say he's established on the strength of one Jason Gavern, eh?

Tough one, Awesome fight. I'll go with Glazkov by Decision. Tor did well in Prizefighter though.

I love this NBC series by Main Events.

It's such a great match-up, and out of left field. I can picture it going either way. :thumbsup

Yep, So are you going to be around the forum for the fights this weekend? Joan Guzman-Khalib Allakhvierdev and Miguel Cotto-Austin Trout. I got Guzman and Cotto in tough fights but so excited for these Friday/Saturday fights. :good

I actually have boxing class on Friday night, so I'm not sure about being around in time for Guzman vs. Allakhverdiev (which is on at some weird time on some weird channel?)

Definitely on board for Saturday. :hammertime

I believe it starts at like 7-730 but main event wont be until night ( 9-10 PM, I assume ).

Pursuit channel, Turns out Dish has it on Channel 240 ( Just discovered ). They are a hunting channel. But hey, It's boxing on TV so I really don't care what it is otherwise.

    Picks for the two fights?

    A hunting channel. :patsch

Eh, I suppose that's basically what Versus (now rebranded to "NBC Sports") was around the time they started showing boxing. Some hockey, and some other programming, but maybe 10-15 hours a day was hunting or outdoorsy stuff.

Guzman and Cotto UD. Allakhverdiev and Trout are not pushovers, but the favorites just have too much class for them IMO.

Enough with your Adamek nonsense. The guy is a bust at heavyweight. A non world beater at heavyweight. Overrated. His performance against a 40 year old Vitali was so pitiful, that old man vitali admitted carrying Adamek in the 2nd round like he was his daddy. Adamek then lost to a one armed chambers on any normal scorecard, imagine if Chambers had 2 arms? He looked dreadful against travis walker, nearly getting knocked out. He lost 4-5 rounds to a 40 year old Michael Grant. He has one nice win over a very out of shape Chris Arreola, who has accomplished nothing worthy of a top 10 contender in his career.

Adamek has no power, he's not very fast, he can't take a big punch, and he can be robotic at times.

Cotto is a few comfy steps below Gatti, Morales, on my favorites list. Guy is a warrior with a lot of balls in the ring combined with a smart, educated fighter who knows his way around.

... And not to mention he is one of the only guys left, somewhat near prime from the last pack of Middle-weight class talents from the mid-2000s as we move on to the new guys like Ward, Quillin, ect.

A lot of anger behind that post. Still angry you were laughed at over your 9-1 scorecard in the Chambers fight.

As an American you should be thankful that the most lucrative HW fighting out of North America is bringing HW boxing back to a major network for the masses to view. They could picked anybody but they went with boy:yep

P.S ...i am more than POSITIVE Adamek would(sounding like a haye fan) beat the big lumbering giant in Valuev in much better fasion than the princess did.

He cant win a World title at HW so i will hate on him:|:|...tell me who can and then get back to me.:hi:

Vitali is a liar. He carried Adamek? Did he carry the other guys who went 10 rounds?
Please. Adamek has had a decent heavyweight career and for a guy who has "no power" he sure put Maddalone,Golota,Walker on their asses!
    Boytsov didn't stop Maddalone!

And he beat Arreola and Grant,he has heart and chin too! This guy did braver things then that ****ing Haye who gets so much praise for cherry picking and not fighting anyone in the top 20.
