I dont care about Hayes record other than the fact that he has obvious talent and a possible style advantage against WK.

Thats what makes me excited to see this fight.

Credentials for being heavyweight champ = beating the heavyweight champion

Wlad is the Heavyweight Champ, Haye has not beat Wlad therefore he is not THE true recognised Champ - was this really worthy of an article?

If Haye beats Wlad then he does have the credentials if the World Champ . . . . it's quite a simple concept.

If you think Peter, Chagaev, Chambers, Byrd are better than Haye, you're deluded or ******ed. I don't know which that is, but, seriously, you have problem if you're serious. You mention Thompson too, but from all accounts, Haye was beating the **** out of him in training - Even Thompson pretty much admitted that's the case after Harrison lied about Thompson knocking Haye down.

Seriously, what the **** makes any of those guys better than Haye? Peter is nowhere near as skilled. Chagaev is better, but still not as good and he doesn't hit as hard or has nothing like Haye's speed. Chambers is a **** heavyweight. Byrd was ok but that's about it. Haye is better than Byrd technically. And Brock? Please...nothing he does is more impressive than anything Haye does. He may have a better chin but that's it.

None of those guys are close to what Haye is.

This is the reason this fight is happening and is a draw.

For people to talk up Haye's achievements at HW and his supposed quality of opponents is a joke!

Haye is nowhere near as good as byrd technically, that alone is laughable. Chagaev was better, just more well rounded, key word being was. The others are all pretty even in the fact that they had strengths at certain points in their careers and weaknesses, just as Haye does. Peter is a good example, he might not be skilled, but in the first Wlad fight he was physically strong and durable with a punch. Haye has only one of those attributes, sure he is more fluid and has better movement, but all things taken in to account, there isn't a huge disparity at their best.

If only Haye was that good. Ruiz rocked him, Barrett rocked him, Moch had him down, Mormeck had him down, Carl Thompson had him down, Jimmy Twite had him all over the shop :yep Not exactly big hitting HW power punchers and they all had Haye down. You reckon Wlad won't equal these dudes?

    Harrison - Haye

You can see the ref stepping in and telling them to fight. Harrison never did. He didn't do a single thing except lackadaisically sticking out his arms a couple of times.

We'll see. I'm expecting an exciting fight. Haye, IMO, is quite clearly the most serious competition either Klitschko has faced in recent history. Either some of you guys will be shocked or I will.

It appears some of these biased Klitschko fans won't even bother watching the fight as they're so sure what will happen...

Or just maybe... they will tune in, and pay for it on PPV if they have to...

Its actually not that stupid..Haye would rather lose to Wlad for a astronomical amount of money than to Chag for substantially less.
