Carl Webb. Source: The Daily Telegraph NORTH Queensland enforcer Carl Webb knew exactly what to expect when he enlisted sadistic Cowboys trainer Bill Johnstone to prepare him for his pro-boxing debut on January 11. While his team mates are enjoying a blissful two weeks away from Johnstone's fearsome summer schedule, Webb has been sweating-up a tropical storm at Castle Hill PCYC most afternoons. He sparred a Townsville-based heavyweight yesterday and there will be at least three more sessions before the 28-year-old travels to Sydney next weekend ahead of his fight against local Scott Lewis (1-3).
Fair call I'd say and wouldnt surprise me if he was a bit of a plodder, I still wouldnt be lining up to take a right cross off the bugger
I think that even if Carl Webb wanted a tougher fight for his pro debut, it probably wouldn't be allowed by his club.. They wouldn't want one of there core players getting busted up before pre season training.
I Wonder if he will Fight that great fighter That Hoppa fought in his Pro Debut....Then On the Footy Show they can say that Carl Reminds them of Mike Tyson..... Im Tired of NRL players making a joke out of our sport
