Boxing debut ... Carl Webb. Source: The Daily Telegraph

NORTH Queensland enforcer Carl Webb knew exactly what to expect when he enlisted sadistic Cowboys trainer Bill Johnstone to prepare him for his pro-boxing debut on January 11.

While his team mates are enjoying a blissful two weeks away from Johnstone's fearsome summer schedule, Webb has been sweating-up a tropical storm at Castle Hill PCYC most afternoons.
He sparred a Townsville-based heavyweight yesterday and there will be at least three more sessions before the 28-year-old travels to Sydney next weekend ahead of his fight against local Scott Lewis (1-3).

daresay there won't be too much footwork - but I can't see TBA standing at the end of the fight.

I think that even if Carl Webb wanted a tougher fight for his pro debut, it probably wouldn't be allowed by his club.. They wouldn't want one of there core players getting busted up before pre season training.
