He wieghed in at a very solid 226 versus Marice Wheeler on the undercard of nate Cambell in Florida tomorrow night.

This is his first fight since he waxed Mollo last June. I know tons of people on this board don't think much oh him since the Byrd fight but he has had offers to fight any one ranked above him that have fallen on deaf ears. Segei L already said no and Tony T as well.

Hope he wins this tune up and gets a shot at someone in the WBA. He is ranked 4th!

Wow. A great reason not to watch boxing. TOS. The most boring fighter to lace em up since John Ruiz.

    TOS sucks ass. Period.

He is a good, skilled fighter with decent KO power. I think the biggest thing that turns people off is that he seems too hesitant to engage his opponent, and seems content to run or just stay outta range.

Why not a rematch with Joe Mesi?

Indeed. Before getting clocked by Mesi he was quite alright to watch but that fight ruined his entertainment value.

He's a FNF fighter at best. Leave the title bouts to the real fighters, which only seem to be Russians these days.

I disagree with you 100%. He is the last man to beat Oliver McCall and if you watche dhis career less the Byrd fight you wouldnt say he is boring. His KO% alone lets you know he's not boring. His fight against Byrd was bad, yes. But he came back and won versus an undefeated fighter in Mollo.
