...why? :think Nishioka has stood up to bombs from Jhonny Gonzalez (and been hurt but come back to win). Rafael Marquez got some right hands on him. (and carried his power fairly well up to 122). The one stoppage loss was in his sophomore effort as a pro, sixteen years ago. Donaire hits hard and accurately, but isn't by any stretch of the imagination on another level of punching power or precision from Gonzalez or Marquez. I find it interesting that you worded it "KO" as opposed to stoppage (which allows for a wider range of possibilities including cuts and referee/corner interventions). Why exactly would Donaire knock Nishioka out, when we haven't even seen him at super bantamweight yet?
Not sure what to say. Even from Japanese commentary I've seen, they're kind of appalled at the cruelty of Nishioka having to face Donaire. Still, it would be a good match if it ever happened. Gonna be speed machines fighting each other. It's hard to pick against Donaire though even if he's going to climb up a weight class.
Great match-up. I'm slightly favoring Donaire. First, let's see how Donaire will manhandle the long time champ at Jr. Bantam, Omar Narvaez...
No no no... that's Nishioka saying "come and get it", Donaire with the forced smile "um... not now" :hey
accuracy generates power.... guess you havent seen montiel got starched....donaire is a level or two above gonzalez or marquez in terms of ko power.... nishi aint that aggressive enough to deal with donaire....
