how does Marquez look? Does he still have something left or is it just a matter of time when Nishioka catches him?

Nishioka looks like he's ready to lead, now. He comes our and lands several quick stright lefts. He's too fast for Rafa who is still coming forward, but missing more often. Best round of the night for Nishioka as he has figured out that he can land the lead left pretty much at will.

    10-9 Nishioka
    48-47 Marquez

He looks slower than Nishioka, but by no means out of it.

Nishioka isn't firing back so Rafa is winning just on throwing more. Nishioka GAMBARE!!

Nishioka comes out circling left again and Marquez goes back to sticking the jav in his chest and occassionally throwing a right upstairs. Nice left my Nishioka at the 2 minute mark. Marquez continues to try to come in behind the jab, but never throws more than one shot behind it. Nishioka continues to land the straight left; it's the deciding punch of the night.

    10-9 Nishioka
    57-57

Here's the deal: when Nishioka circles left, Marquez is able to jab and come in. When Nishioka goes right he is able to crack the left hand.

The fight really boils down to that.

I might sound like a broken record, but: a close round. Rafa throws more and is the only one using a jab; although not a crisp one. Nishioka's punches are much cleaner and impressive. This round, Marquez's workrate carries it.

I could see a counter-argument to my scoring in severa rounds.

    10-9 Marquez
    67-66 Marquez.

Finally some fireworks, an a clash of heads. Like a bull draen to blood (Nishioka's head above the hairline) Rafa comes out blazing. Huge left by Nishioka but Marquez comes ahead anyway. Now this is a fight.

    10-9 Marquez
    77-75 Marquez.
