Such a shame we didn't get Kamegai/Soto Karass. Would have been such a war

    Round 5

Big strong jab and cross by Miura scurrying in. Miura stands in and slugs it out with Hernandez, taking a big risk. Miura drives through big right hands and works in left hooks to the chest as Hernandez just waves his fists out low at Miura's abdomen and weaves in a few of those slow but sneaky accurate jabs to the face. Miura dances outside and gets jabbed in the forehead. Shoeshining flurry by Miura starts downstairs and rises up, ending with a big right hand. Soft uppercut by Hernandez as they lean together. Miura is cut. Miura is shouldering into Hernandez and drives him back to the corner, both slapping down at each other as their arms press together. Hernandez clubs away with Miura ducking. Overhand right by Miura, hits shoulder as Hernandez himself ducks. Nice right hand lands for Miura. Left hook by Hernandez. Right hand again by Miura over the top. Left hook by Miura is thrown hard but at a bad angle, turned partly away from Hernandez and just missing him.

    Last round coming up!

They are frantically trying to repair Miura's left eyebrow in the corner.

    Round 6

Guns blazing from Miura. Hernandez has his glove re-taped. Miura is taking deep breaths waiting in the neutral corner, bleeding out badly still. Time in and Hernandez rushes inside, getting hooked in the face hard. They trade shoeshines to the body, neither so much as looking upward! Action! :bbb Hernandez is pushed to the ropes and they keep swapping uppercuts to the body. Miura keeps physically pushing the bigger Hernandez back and then leaning in on him to trade more body shots. Big right hand by Hernandez as he switches to head hunting. Uppercutting flurries by both, toe to toe! Hernandez scrapes a right across the side of Miura's head before getting tackled into the ropes and grabbed from under the arms. Big right hand by Miura. Big 1-2 by Miura!! He's gaining strength in the last twenty seconds! Shoves back by Miura, big flurry to the chin!! Exchange! Hernandez backs up! Overhand right by Miura ducked, and he rips off a left hook down low that dents Hernandez on the bicep.

10-9 Miura, he finagled the round (and the preservation of his unbeaten record...if the official judges agree with me and the Top Rank commentators...)

Kamegai-Soto Karass would have been epic. A damn shame we don't get that fight.

    60-54???? :patsch

ANOTHER bad card from Lefkowicz. The guy who tried to rob Beranza.

Thankfully Lisa Giampa was there to counteract his stupidity...AGAIN.

The TV card is about to get underway!

I guess we aren't going to see the two remaining six rounders, except maybe as filler later on (maybe they're being held as walkout bouts for after the main event?)

    They were scheduled to be:

Anthony Lenk vs. Winston Mathis, welterweights

Jesse Magdaleno vs. Isaac Hidalgo, featherweights

All four men were at the weigh-in yesterday, so as far as I know neither has been canceled. :conf
