Bro the way he just laid back.............then sprawled and flapjacked then Trevor Berbick-ed into the ring post...............absolutely bananas. This fight is burned in my brain forever.

Same here. There was a slight delay from that jab landing, and the big exaggerated fall backwards. I always check the comments when I watch clips of this fight to see if anyone else is calling that a dive, and occasionally I do see people saying that. I saw it on HBO the night it happened, and thought it was fake. Haven't seen anything since to change my mind. It reminded me of this basketball flop...

Tyson's final left hook on Berbick fits the bill, especially when one looks at the after effects.

Ah man that punch travelled about 2 feet and looked huge to me. Perfect leverage and caught him flush on the button. Perfect short (tho still 2 feet or so) direct hammer that scrambled his brain.

I watched that fight again recently.

After an 18-month layoff, Tyson needed to shake off some rust and, at the same time, solve a surprisingly nimble Botha who was happy to rush in behind a one-two, hold and maybe work from within the clinch.

The punch that ended it was, for mine, Tyson's experience-based response to Botha's tactics - A beautifully timed peach as Botha looked to set up one of his frequent assaults.

It was a massive punch and, yes, it likely traveled around two-feet.

    Classic Tyson.

No, it was 100% legit. It's just Maskaev's chin was THAT bad. Kirk Johnson and journeyman T-Rex Sanders laid him out cold for several minutes each. Another journeyman Nagy Agilera who wasn't even a hard puncher brutalised Oleg in 1, McCall KO'ed him with arm punch. I'm pretty sure Chris Byrd would have knocked Maskaev out. In fact, he stopped more durable guys like Jimmy Thunder and Lionel Butler

It's a famed punch. Big Botha trying a bit of Holyfield theory but unfortunately he's not the real deal. Big Badda BOOM!!!!

Ottke V Mundine always looks a little odd. Yeah Mundine is coming forward but Ottke couldn't punch for sh***
