Hardest to easiest fights for PBF 1.Cotto Pluses: has a good jab great body attack good footwork good power most versatile fighter of the bunch and his style matches up the best against PBF. Minuses: Can be dropped, retreats when pressured, average defense at best, fails to clinch, easily frustrated and abandons gameplan early in the fight if not working. 2.Shane Pluses: big strong WW has fast hands good power and reach. Minuses: No footwork, no jab, defense is poor, old, can't make neccessary adjustments when needed. 3.Pac Pluses: southpaw fast hands good pop confidence. Minuses: No jab, can't fight on the inside, can't fight going backwards, comes in wild off balanced with head down somewhat one-dimensional
Good 'in a nut-shell' analysis:good It's kind of funny how Shane is running away with this poll. Whether you think he was disrespectful on saturday or not, he's conjured up interest out of nothing.
we have to rethink before answering I think ( and manny people agree with me here at esb) that mosley's weaknesses are a good stiff jab and a good right hand...pbf showed that he has a good jab and showed against jmm that when he uses it it can be lethal....
I say Cotto. I believe Cotto will upset Pacquaio and do it in an impressive fashion. I believe you'll see Cotto be just as fast as Pacquaio, and I think Cotto has more sustained power while Pacquaio is the bigger one punch hitter. I think Cotto is a slick boxer who if he can get his stamina right, would trouble Floyd mostly because he's not going to attempt to pressure Floyd stupidly. Cotto's mistake in the Margarito fight was expending too much energy early and I think he'll have learnt from that. Mosley? Just too old and not the fighter people think he is anymore. Pacquaio? Wrong style and everything against him.
