Bowe of Holyfield 1 Fury of the Klitschko fight Who would Lennox struggle with or possibly lose against?
I think Fury might be the harder fight. Bowe was predictable in what he did. He'd try take your head off with overhands at range and try rough you up on the inside. Fury is far more defensively responsible than Bowe, who typically assumed that his brute force would be greater than his opponent's. Bowe would be a much easier target for Lewis that the jumpy, herky jerky Fury who would be trying to play games all night long and would try to maximise his size advantages. Lewis had a good jab but he'd have a job in dealing with Fury's length. This fight also really depends on which versions of Fury and Lewis show up. Fury would torture a bad version of Lewis and Lewis would blast a hole through a bad version of Fury. Both could be inconsistent although Fury arguably more so.
Equally. They would make it tricky, Lewis often fought quite awkwardly against taller men, he’d often plod forward and fall in, Fury would give him issues early on. Bowe is strong on the inside, I don’t think he has much of a chance against Lewis on the outside, but up close, he absolutely could. I’d pick Lewis against both though, the Fury fight wouldn’t be as tough in terms of physically, but technically, the Bowe fight would be harder physically.
Definitely, Bowe. Bowe of the first Holyfield fight has an excellent chance of beating Lewis. And, that version of Bowe would beat the crap out of ANY version of Fury.
I don't know how big Bowe (Holfield 1) really is. He beat Holyfield who only stuck to his tactics for two rounds. After that Holy fought "fire for fire" with a 30 pound heavier top boxer. Fury (Wlad fight) is a trick Taller than all opponents (Bowe and Lewis) with more reach. Herky - jerky... Peak Lewis (STEWARD Lewis) would beat Bowe and Fury imho. Those would be two tough nights for Lewis. Equally.
Bowe would present a bigger threat. Fury shows his class but he isn't stopping Lewis, or out-boxing him. He'd probably just frustrate Lewis for a few rounds and get stopped. Whereas Bowe could stop Lewis.
Riddick Bowe for sure. Lennox would be able to bully and rough up the Fury of the Wlad fight (Fury was quite light that fight), but Bowe was too tough and skilled to be bullied like that. I really do believe that Riddick Bowe would have beaten Lennox Lewis had they fought.
Yes Bowe from EH 1 beats Fury for me. Bowe had so much going for him around that time. He'd hammer s Fury, gets a decision imo and a few kds perhaps.
Bowe he fights at a much higher pace and can throw up to 700+ punches in a fight. So if the fight goes deep he can test Lewis's stamina which may be a bit suspect. Fury is a tricky style but he likes to fight at his own pace and if Wilder can deck Fury 4 times you would think a much more skillful Lewis would find the target eventually.
The best of Bowe , probably beats the best of Lewis. The best of Fury loses to the best of both of them. So Bowe would be the much tougher opponent for Lewis ...
