Tougher to beat: Beating Margarito or beating Baldomir. *Pimp C Special edition*

Honestly the truth is Today in the here and now, You know that Baldimor stood no chance against Floyd going in, if you know boxing you knew Baldimor was tailor made for Floyd, he had nothing going for himself going in other than he walked around at 180 that was it, he couldnt punch, he had no speed, he didnt have good footwork he didnt have a single attribute to his name.

He beat Zab Judah for the titles not because he was that good, its becuase Zab sux that bad, I mean Zab has lost every major fight he was in he even lost to Corrie Spinks for god sakes, he was a Don King groomed fighter with the titles on hold, why? that is becuase Mosley and DLH and Forrest had all moved up to 154, Zab was just a case of being in the right place at the right time.

with that said, when you look at the welter weights back then, you can not Argue that Margarito wasnt the most dangerous, this is pre Williams remind you and yes he didnt have super star names on that resume they all avoided him, and they had good reason to, he is a High Risk Low reward fighter who can take anybodys title on any given night.

Now the bottom line is back then you had, Collazo, Baldimor, Hatton, Mayweather, Spinks, Judah and Margarito at Welter weight, and your going to tell me that Margarito was some how not the tuffest welter at that time????????

I don't got time for drama, nor am I fooled by that ****. I'd rather just see a good fight, and Baldomir had the style that Floyd could relatively easily pick apart.

A lot of people point out that Judah lost against Baldomir, but I think he won but got robbed. He probably put on his worst professional performance, and that's why they gave it to Baldomir, but he still won.

Either way, it ain't about that. It's just about bein a fan of good fights. I mean I'm all about not gettin fighters hurt, but ****, that's their job.

I know what you are saying but Im saying, this thread was ****ed up from the beginning. The thread started out with two questions for one poll.

Beating Baldomir at the time Baldomir held the titles added more to anyones career than it did by beating Margarito at the time.

Beating Margo now would add more than the Baldomir win for Floyd but thats not the point of the thread.

 

I love revisionists. Baldomir was picked by many to "give Floyd a very tough fight". That's a fact, look it up. He was linear and was not a pushover, despite Floyd masterclassing him.

 

What you need to do is act like a grown ****ing man and admit its time for Floyd to fight Margarito! stop being a ***** and ducking the issue, it is ****ing time, if you really are a fan of this sport, then you know in your mind that this fight only makes perfect sense.

Stop with the gay ass father against son ****, stop with the gay as P4P who is the best Pac or PBF, look at what is needed in this sport, right now you cant deny that Margarito is the best Welter weight, sure you will grab and use Williams as Foil, but Williams moved up okay, so Margarito isnt taking that rematch just yet big ****ing deal atleast he took all the top welters out there.
