You have to realize and remember that these Floyd groupies sprung out after PBF beat a shot Gatti.

Most of these groupies don't understand boxing, all they know is what their King Joy says.

Since boxing was known to be a business as it's a sport, that's when known or unknown and RESUME(which translates the known or unknown) ALWAYS mattered and Margarito, despite proving to be the same, didn't really prove it against good enough opponents.

Mayweather was P4P#1 and extremely highly regarded, even if he fought Margarito he would be a HUGE favorite going in, especially back when Margarito's biggest win was Kermit Cintron. Does that mean this win was going to be worthless too?, I would guess your answer would be a NO, is it because you're a fan of Margarito and not Baldomir?

It's kind of hard to beat quality opponents when they won't fight you. Whether it is a high-risk fight or not, Margarito couldn't get a break. He called out Mosley waaay before their pending fight, called out Vargas, called out DLH, called out Mayorga, and Mayweather. Cotto was the only one willing to risk everything by fighting the dangerous Margarito, and for that he deserves all the credit in the world.

Margarito was also known throughout the boxing world (writers, magazines, hardcore public, etc...) as a legitimate threat yet no one was willing to give him a chance.

Margarito would have hammered Baldomir then and now. You going on record saying this fight may have been won by Baldomir goes to show you have very little knowledge about the fight game. I don't see how you can come up with that conclusion since Baldo doesn't have the firepower to backup the granite chinned Margarito. Baldo's speed is worse than Margarito's, and Margarito doubles or even triples Baldo's workrate. Nice try, but you FAILED MISERABLY at predicting the outcome of this fantasy match-up.

I have nothing against Baldomir scar. There's no need to play that tired game. :deal

Look, this is simple about WHO'S TOUGHER TO BEAT between Baldomir and Margairto. Money and belts have nothing to do with it. LOOK AT EACH FIGHTER and what they do IN THE RING, and tell me who'd be more difficult. It really is as simple as that. You use money and belts as a distracting point. They don't do anything for this question.

Are you kidding me, Margarito's best assests are that he can throw a punch from any angle, not even having to be set. If Margarito needed to be set to punch he wouldn't be able to throw 100+ punches a round.:patsch You haven't seen much of Margarito have you?

Please see the ending of the Cintron fights and the cotto fights, Margarito's punches were short and strong, and what set Cintron up was staright punches followed by an uppercut to the body.

Dirty fighters are eaier to pick apart for technicians. They leave themselves open for just about every punch. Dirty fighters are most succesful against infighters. PBF is not an infighter.

Wow...This isn't even worth replying too anymore.:-(

Orion, your post was so pathetic, it is full of bull feces, I feel pathetic for starting to break it down.

    :patsch

It's more impressive to beat the easier-to-beat-fighter because he has a belt. :patsch You are exactly what is wrong with fans and a reason the ABC's still get away with bull**** you ****in sheep...

You're a hater, and tearing you a new one won't matter because you're so loose anyway.

Margarito has brought the pain against anyone he has faced, win or lose. If you say otherwise, then you're a moron. I'm not saying your one, unless you say otherwise.

Margarito was obviously not himself against Clottey, and he still won. They were both injured, the difference is that Clottey injured his hand against Margarito's relentlessness. and Margarito came into the fight with a "Severe" sprained ankle and shoulder problems. It is well documented.
