You're all spot on with the Buchanan fight he was the accepted no1 LW at the time going in to the fight I just meant the actual fight itself was extremely physical, tough, and brutal, as Buchanan would tell you himself I'm sure!

 

I vaguely remember an old interview with Nelson, when asked what his next fight was the response was something like "Oh I'm off to Brazil to get robbed again."

The Duran fight was at MSG, but the first Laguna fight was in the middle of the day, outdoors in Puerto Rico....not ideal conditions for a borderline ginger Scot. During the 5th Eddie Thomas had to borrow an umbrella from someone in the crowd to protect Ken between rounds, also rubbing in a combo of water and sun cream into Kens head to cool down and protect, madness when you think about it.

 

Morales-Limond wasn't the easiest. He was doing well until the altitude kicked in!

 

Conditions wise... A pasty looking Barry McGuigan fighting an un fancied but acclimatised Mexican in a desert when be lost to Steve Cruz, who would have been shown the doors by round 10 anywhere else.
