Arthur Abraham, fighting with a double jaw fracture in the first fight against Miranda, and a broken rip in the second.

From what I understand he wanted to fight but doctors said no. Also, the fight was only delayed for three weeks, it's not like he is ducking him or anything.

Vitali Klitschko in his fight vs. Lennox Lewis. I will never forget that deep to the bones cut.
    And Arthur Abraham, of course.

Chuvalo,Marciano,Foreman,Jorge Castro,Hagler,Lamotta,to name a few........But in all honesty any man who has the courage to get in a ring and fight has got balls some bigger than others but all fighters deserve that credit....( me included-HAHAHAHA)

    Joe Grimm the Iron man....or (Human punching ball) won 8 (KO 5) + lost 94 (KO 6) + drawn 9 = 119
    rounds boxed 876 : KO% 4.2
Lost to the Dixie Kid, Blackburn(light/welter), Killian eventual feather champ, Sam McVey Ko'ed him, bell saved him after many kd/s vs Jack Johnson.....
Many names like Al Kaufman and so on....just don't know how many feathers fought major Heavies.....
He lived to @86 in good health.

By All Accounts most of the aforementioned fighters did have Skills to compliament their toughness, and enable the to often Ride or block or smother blows, what about the tough guys who had little real skills, but simply had to rely on toughness to get by, Say Joe Grim !?

Recently Marcos Villasana comes to Mind - he fought a who's who of Featherweight Punchers and never put down (only stopped twice on Cuts)

I travelled over to Glasgow to watch McCullough foghting Scott Harrison. The amount of punishment he was able to take from a clearly much bigger man was ridiculous, there were times when I was sure he was going to be stopped and he would just come right back swinging. He was able to hang in there with some of the best fighters of his generation........just a shame he was the definition of feather fisted.

I know he's not ducking him...But IMO, the "toughest fighters ever" would fight when they're supposed to no matter what.
