Whether because you loved the fighter, had money on the fighter ect., what was the toughest KO loss you had to endure? For me, it was seeing Tommy Hearns flatten Roberto Duran in the 2nd Round with that crushing right hand. Growing up, Duran was my favorite fighter and I honestly felt he could outpoint-- or even stop in the later rounds-- the "Hitman." Man, that one still hurts! :yikes
Arguello/Pryor I: I watched it at a bar that was full of Pryor fans. A guy even tried to sucker punch me, but I saw it coming and whipped his ass. They threw us out of the bar, and he tried me again in the parking lot. I beat his ass some more. He went to his car and tried to get a gun out of the trunk. Some one hollered, "He's goin' for a gun," so I slammed the trunk lid on his head, and beat his ass a third time. Tough ****ing night in the hood:twisted:
that's ****ing nuts, what're you chuck norris:bbb?? anyway, for me it will always be jones-johnson. i didn't see the tarver ko live and that spared me a lot of the shock as i had time to get used to it before i watched it. but i gathered all my buddies to watch jones' comeback fight...only to see him squashed. i damn near cried. wait, no i did cry
The one in recent memory is when Taylor got KO'd by Froch. All he had to do was stay up and he would've won. It's a damn shame.
jt against pavlik, froch, abraham. i don't think i've recovered yet. i was happy when pac tkoed dlh, but i also felt old because i grew up on dlh, and it clearly meant the end of an era.
Taylor being Ko'd by Pavlik hurt me more because he was so hyped up and I bought into it thinking he would have a small reign. I thought Taylor was about to put him away then things turned for the worst for him...
I hear you, brother. My dad snapped at me at said, "Quit, crying. Duran's getting paid." To this day, however, I think he--as a bonafide Duran fan-- was merely snapping at me out of misplaced anger over the Duran loss! :rofl
