Willie "The Worm" Monroe vs David Love- Willie remains my all time favorite boxer. I grew up loving the Philly Phight scene and The Worm quickly became my fav. Coming just 2 months after he scored a clear decision on Hagler, and he seemed to be on his way...goes and gets bombasted in the 4th rd! UUUGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Runner Up- Meldrick Taylor vs JCC- Don't feel like turning this into a debate thread about weather or not it should have been staopped! But seeing meldrick control the action, while absorbing a great deal of punishment..and still amintain a nice pts lead, fights a horrible gameplan in the final rd! This one still brings tears to my eyes!

 

I havent been watching boxing until recently so both are recent. Hatton Vs Pac, I didn't know if he was even gonna get up, I'd fell for the whole 'Hatton will be too big for Pac' thing.

The other is Cotto Vs Pacquiao, I really thought he deserved to make it until the end. What a warrior, then you get people talking **** saying he ran the whole fight, crazy stuff.

Rogan Vs Sexton 1 was a bit mental, not really a big fight but it was like something out of a movie.

 

Hating Ricky Hatton has become one of the new in things to do on ESB! So I usually keep my mouth shut rather than deal with the morons! But his KO loss first to PBF really hurt, and like you not only did I really like the Hitman, but also was in the minority that thought his size advantage would be to much. No so much the fact that he lost but the brutal oneside way it happened both shocked and upset me!

 

same here. i was hoping the tarver ko was a fluke and roy would be back again, but when johnson tagged him i knew right then it was an end of an era. ****! I still get pissed. Still no one like RJJ today not even Floyd and maybe not another Roy in another 100 yrs. Baddest natural boxer I have ever seen and lucky enough to have witnessed. The other was probably Tommy Morrison getting ko'd by Mercer. I was a big Rocky fan and watching him getting kronked like that was also heart breaking.
