Quite a tough bunch, but Thomas was past it, McDonagh wasn't much good, Rodrigues was over-rated going in.

I think even Mike Tyson had a better run of seven?:
Berbick, Smith, Thomas, Tucker, Biggs, Holmes, Tubbs

Possibly so. But some of the guys thus far listed fought some past primers or even lost to some of their seven. But your point is valid.

Yeah, I'm guessing the REAL TOUGH line-ups will be found on the records of the old-timers.

    Nicolino Loche
    Johnny Bizarro
    Sugar Ramos
    Flash Elorde
    Sugar Ramos
    Ismael Laguna

sort of, they tend to have a bunch of weak opposition splitting up the names tho.

Oscar did Chavez, Quartey, Carr, Trinidad, Coley, Mosley, Gatti, Castillejo, Vargas, Campas, Mosley 2, Sturm, Hopkins, Mayorga and Mayweather consecutively. Not bad.

Woh, a shout out for Antonio Tarver. It is rare on ESB to see any kind of positive call for Tarver. From 2002 to mid-2006 (Hopkins) he faced quite a good list.

Bet if someone coming up (from SMW) had wanted to get in the mix to test themselves against better versions and talent they could have gotten Tarver to enter the ring without any hesitation. His list of opponents says he wouldn't have said no.

How about Deontay Wilder's seven? That's a great lineup.

Dirrell clearly beat him. Kessler beat him, Ward beat him in every minute pretty much. And Pascal and Bute were extremely poor, Abraham a shot midget.

Barkley annihilated Hearns and Olajide and could be scored victor over Duran and Nunn. He nearly stopped Benn in the first minute.

Duran kicked Barkley's ass. No controversy here..

It's been a long time since I saw it, but I don't recall the fight with Nunn being close, irrespective of what the judges say.

It definitely wasn't a clear win for Nunn. He deserved the nod, but even Bob Arum was interviewed after the fight and said " michael Nunn did not BEAT iran barkley tonight"
