Toughest Middle weight Champ That Hagler Struggles With?

This is the champs I thought Hagler would've had a hard time keeping them away.
Kid McCoy
Harry Greb
Gene Fullmer
Carmen Basilio
Dick Tiger
Jake LaMotta
Randy Turpin

I think he'll struggle with McCoy from how I read McCoy's style,quite dirty.
Fullmer, Basilio, Tiger would force Hagler to box and that's if he managed to escape the pressure.

Greb and LaMotta are two boxer punchers that I think could trouble Hagler quite a bit with that toughness and technique.

Turpin would force Hagler to chase him and maybe eat some of his counters.

 

He had a short time at the top but I think Randy Turpin could pose some problems based on his size, speed and awkwardness.

Prime Michael Nunn is another one though i expect Hagler to win a decision.

 

GGG, Nunn, Kalambay, McCallum, Toney, Tiger, Giardello. Not saying they all beat him but some could and all would give him a good go.

 

Good list too,I thought McCallum could fall to Hagler's pressure and hard shots later though.

 

Thanks. When you say McCallum could fall to Hagler's pressure, I simply don't agree. McCallum was never stopped in his 20 year career and fought all the way up to Cruiserweight. If Roy Jones and Toney couldn't stop him, I don't see Hagler being able to.

 

Canelo would give him hell.

Guys with physicality similar to Vito and Hamsho - Fullmer, Olson and LaMotta. I think Toney gets him and I think Canelo would be an interesting fight, fair chance Mr Griffith UD’s Hagler IMO.

 

I see it a bit differently than most I guess. I think the tough swarmers, mid range guys get outpointed against Haglar. His problems will come against the slicksters like Roy jones imo or rangier guys like mentioned with Monzon or SRR.
Guys like Canelo, LaMotta, Fullmer get taken apart by Haglar, the much better boxer. Haglar is 50 -50 if not better against the best MW in history. Greb has huge problems against Haglar
