Earlier this morning I checked out the thread about the stoppage and the questionability of it, only to find that many people point out that a towel was thrown from Marquez's corner. Well, the fact of the matter is that the towel seen in the air at the end of the bout was thrown by Vazquez's corner in celebration. I dont know if anyone pointed this out during the day, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Not only that but the slip call was ludicrous as well. I was very shocked to find that even Bernstein called it the correct call. But, YOU CANNOT SLIP IF YOUR FOOT IS IN THE AIR. Just rewatched the fight so I thought I'd throw those facts and rebuttals out there, but either way, we're all going to get a third fight, which is what I was rooting for the entire time.
Oh yes after what we have seen in this second fight . . . the third fight would be an ultimate thiller. :yep :good
Ummmm, what does any of this have to do with the outcome??? I mean, the towel was after the fact anyway. The "slip" or KD wouldnt mean anything in the long run anyway because.......and ya gotta listen here.......IT WAS A TKO! Even if the KD or slip was counted...the scorecards dont come into play. What is the point of this thread? Ya lose some money on Raph or something? :huh
