Wasn't about ref Steve Marshall. It was about judge Adrian Cairns. Given Nankorn was never gonna last more than 3/4 rounds, the farkin thing didn't need judges

PABA has been a con for number of year now, hence the reason Derek Milham distanced himself quite some time ago.
Kiwi con artist Francisco Martinez took over, but got the arse supervising in OZ when he demanded 2 pay packets - judging & supervising on Jamie Myer's show. He was lucky Jamie didn't deck him

 

was going off what phildrid said when he wrote that the appointed PABA offical said the referee wasnt acceptable. Why was the Judge unacceptable do you know Anton? Conflict of intrest or any other excuse offerd?

 

I'll check if he was initial appointee. However, Vocale nor Kim have a say who is appointed

 

Actually i will be in the crowd that night champ. why would u want me to ref that bout? Danny would be penalized all night for hitting on the back of the head

 

Thats what had me confused, i thought that the ref was appointed by the board and that only the judges could be scrutinized and changed, usually because the camp who isnt happy with said judge didnt like the way he scored a previouse fight, cough Mundine.

 

Regional bodies have no say in Qld, NSW & Vic on any appointments.
Touch unclear in SA. As for Wild Wild West Commission...they wouldn't know if you were up them. I think even Fiji commission is better at it.

Officaly speaking Anton how do the appointments work, with refrence to Judges and Referee.

 

Each State has it's own system, which at times is hard to understand e.g. In Victoria judge Aneeka Williams seems to get more work than others & recently Malcolm Bulner's daughter stands out.
In Qld, before each general meeting (last Tuesday of each month), officials have their meeting & frame the roster.
In NSW, it appears there's a team system e.g. McMahon twins, Dean, Bloyd, Christian

 

Look on the bright side of it.
You couldn't have 2 better judges than the Cairns brothers for a guaranteed KO.

 

70% of matches are mismatches, but it's always nice to know 30 /27 x 3 was the score @ time of stoppage Such is life in modern boxing

Funny how Martinez and his scum bag mate Mike Edwards from NZ have disappeared off the scene? Don't even get a gig in NZ anymore and from what I have heard never will.

In WA officials try to be appointed on a rotation system but is limited due to limited number available.
