TR vs GBP is Arum really to blame can we really blame him?

Mayweather, GBP, and ODLH ***** riders will accuse Arum across the board of any and all problems within boxing. Same ***** riders will refuse to contemplate the Mayweather ducking/Alvarez protection services as things damaging to the sport. This hypocrisy is resentment and butthurt based and not something to rationally argue against. They'll never change their tune as long as they remain little bitches and refuse to grow up.

That said, Arum and boxing promoting in general is a filthy little carnival from the little I know about it. If GBP were to take over the sport it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing just to prevent the whole side-stepping dance that occurs when rival promoters squabble over money.

The real issue is that boxing needs to become centralized in the United States. There needs to be an objective overseer like there is for the NFL, NBA, and the NCAA sport commission. By diminishing the influence individual fighters and promotion companies have in determining matching, activity, and rule-sets there will be a renewed emphasis on competitive fights for the fans, legitimate championships, and boxer safety. The issue is that too many individuals (Arum, GBP, Mayweather, Pacquiao, et al) have too much singular sway over the politics of the sport. A central commission with large oversight power would help to improve boxing and legitimize it before its infamy booms and relevance diminishes.
