To follow on from yesterday's thread...

I'm currently doing a course and they keep talking about trade offs, sacrificing one thing to gain in another area.

Probably won't be as successful as yesterday's thread but why not...

What Skills/Quality's would you trade for one fighter to receive another.

    Gonna be tough i'd think..

    So...

Khan Speed for Ward ring IQ. (struggling for a example shattered!)

Cleverly workrate for Bellew boxing ability ;):rofl

It's a tough one must say, gets you thinking what quality's fighters could sacrifice to gain in another area.

    :good

It is a tough one. I suppose a defensively good fighter who hardly ever gets hit could trade in a granite chin in exchange for something else. Trouble is, what does Enzo Mac have that Floyd could possibly want?

It was just a stab at it, I get it now trying to improve both fighters, Pac does have better boxing ability I was just trying to improve Rees. How about khan's speed for Ricky hattons inside fighting game??

:good Good shout mate, your first one was as well wasn't having a go :good.

I'm looking to trade a part of Kell's game bar jab, power for footwork. I wanna see this kid create angles with his feet. Maybe his reflexes?. I mean his reflexes are ok better then many but not overly amazing IMO. He's a orthodox fighter i think with little more angles like Gavin's he'd create more stoppages.

Could be wrong, just a line of thought. Off for a shower then nice beef stew.

    Adios

I think your right, brook seems a little rigid in his fights to me if he did improve his footwork to create those angles he would have stopped Matty I think. Gota say he has a great jab though

I'd give Khans balls as a trade for Mayweathers savvy.

I'll trade Carl Froch's mental strength for Victor Ortiz's handspeed.

It nearly looks like it wouldn't work. But if Ricky had to go full-on boxer mode (as he could do from time to time) then he'd now have Khan's handspeed to compliment his own fast feet.

He'd still have shorts arms though. So I'm trading his left hook to the visitor P-Dubs reach. He doesn't need it anyway, he never uses it.

So now Ricky is a relative featherfisted boxer-puncher who darts in an out with combos and fast feet with really long arms :D He's stripped of his best weapon, but we see him 'do a Tackie' on loads' people.

Williams still falls in but now he has a weird combination of height, guts and short T-Rex arms a mean left hook to the body (he's still a southpaw) which, sadly for Paul will see him countered more and more and probably lose more. Sorry, P-Dub.

**** it, I'll trade Williams slow plodding feet for Segura's relatively slow, but smaller so actually faster legs. Williams is now a slightly above averagely speedy short and stubby Welter in the mould of a Bazooka Limon.

    Nice.
