Gmitruk also spent much time in Cuba studying their training practice

Before Adamek-Banks he spent a while with Pawel Wolak, our polish hope in 154. As far I remember it wasn't Swedish, but Norwegian National Team, he was also in some council structures in there.

Good resume. I'd like to add that the one fight of Adamek Gmitruk didn't take part was against Chad Dawson.

If he was American, he would be a coach legend for sure.

It was cool. Adamek is a really nice guy. This is like the sixth chance I've gotten to meet him.

    I will post pictures tomorrow.

    :good

And yes, I am going to the fight.

Well, he was wearing the same outfit yesterday, so I think it was from then. But then again, Adamek might wear one of those shirts for every day of training.

He's a really nice guy, Gmitruk and in the brief conversations I've had with him, he seems like a really sharp dude.

Interesting, Hoax. I was not aware of this.

Hopefully that means I can finally land an interview with Roger.

Where was he tarining? At Ziggys gym, which was the old Marciano gym in Jersey City?

I may go to the final presser on Wednesday, Feb 6 in North Bergen.

    See ya there???:!:

Adamek's trained by Gmitruk and Bloodworth, managed by Ziggy and he's now a heavyweight from Poland. Short of Andrew Golota Jr. becoming a professional boxer, I'd say this is about the next best thing we Golota fans are gonna get.

Also, please try your hardest to land an interview with Bloodworth. That would be very very interesting.

I agree, Hoax. That Adamek officially has a win over Golota kind of acts like a passing of the torch.

I have liked Adamek since I first heard about him fighting Briggs on the untelevised undercard for Golota-Brewster. Soon after, I watched that fight and became an instant fan.
