Heh, 5'7" 146.5lb Walter Matthysse vs 6'2.5" 160lb Kelly Pavlik.

I don't think there's any point in comparing power, Pavlik's shots will be the hardest punches PW has felt by a long ways.

And PW being 155lb right now? That's crazy, so he'll still be under 160 on fight night and Pavlik will be comfortable around 170lb.

PW only hope is to win on points.

Is Williams going to be eating junk food again to try and put weight on? What the **** is with this guys metabolism? I can't believe he walks around south of 160.

 

I figured as much, but I had come to this thread to make a remark on that particular comment by Peterson, used his question to you as my starting point.

 

I cannot believe they failed to take advantage of the postponement. Team Williams should have used the extra time to put some size on PW. I think it was irresponsible for Peterson not to do that.

 

I think it will be easier for Kelly then P Williams.

 

It's just talk to hype the fight and help Williams confidence...

Honestly, I don't like the overconfidence coming out of this guy. It's good to be confident, but this is obviously Williams' toughest fight.

How long before Jack releases a "Kelly is no Margarito" statement?

 

i'm not convinced someone is that irresponsible...i'm sure they had to of done something. i know he said 155....but no way does someone underestimate a guy whose stopped every mw he's fought that much

 

Well, there's a guy on the main page who compared Pavlik to Andy Kolhe!

 

Kelly started "official" training Monday. Team Pavlik will probably practice the code of omerta for awhile.
