Not arguing that, but is the Margarito fight an exception then? Cause Paul was all over his ass the first portion of the fight, and in the end was "holding on" to his lead to the bell.

 

nah... when paul starts out hot and the fight starts working in his favor he basically loses respect for what his opponent is doing and basically just does whatever he want... and when i say that i mean he doesnt care what he does.. kinda like the saying goes .... when it rains it pours....

paul in that fight was so comfortable that i think he lost sight of what was working for him and just fell inlove with himself.... so he fought a lot inside which is where margarito likes to.... LOVES TO ... work...


so the 2nd half of the fight paul was just being a little careless because it was not easy for him but everything was clicking for him.... if you get what im saying

 

I dunno bout that cause i watched that fight numerous times and PW did alot of work in the 11th and 12th actually out worked Margo in the 12th, but the hit and hold technique is used alot with great effectiveness! ex: What Bhop did to Pavlik also what Holyfield did to Tyson.

 

In a way, my friend, this contradicts your post above though where it says if paul gets off to a good start on Pavlik...etc.

Peterson can't be serious, even easier than the Quintana rematch? This is not how you approach a fight against Pavlik, that was team Miranda's mindset and look what happened to them. Williams will be in the toughest fight of his life and they need to stop thinking that they are equal to Hopkins.

 

I'm a just say this and leave it be, that was a real good ****in' fight, kind of under rated really.:good

Was fun to watch, and I enjoyed that some of the ******* Margo fans had to eat ****.

***Note though, I said ASS HOLE, cause there are many very good boxing fans on here that fave'd Margo too. Example for a good one: Bazooka. Example for bad: CarlosX or some **** like that. lol.

against margarito it worked against him in the later roudns
against winky it was irrelevant cause he was just going off

it just depends on the style of his opponent...

ironically enough i met another person who works in the field we were talking about and he said there were no openings currently but he was going to pass my resume along..... real cool dude too he was my age ... a friend of a friends

I think the Williams hype train is going to get seriously derailed here ..This is not going to be a cake walk by any means ..
