On whether he believes Mosley can knock Mayweather out:
“I think I said it earlier and people think I’m joking when I say it. They think I’m saying it to be humorous. It’s a premiere weight for him. If you put it on the scale and it weighs in at 147, I feel that Shane Mosley can knock it out. If you put it on the scale and it weighs 147, there are certain farm animal that Shane Mosley can knock out if they come in at 147. It’s a premiere weight for him. Now I don’t know, he’s won belts at 154 but I can’t say he’s that great of an athlete at 154. I know at 147 he’s something special, he’s really something special.”

Of course, Shane's a monster at this weight.

But to knock him out he'll have to catch him, and I personally don't see that happening. I think Nazim is more than aware of this too, and isn't really banking on Mosley KO'ing Floyd. He's expecting a tricky 12 round fight. No doubt

Yes agree! Mayweather will see Shane loading up his punches from a mile away. Hope has a plan A-Z.

That's exactly it dude. I'm not an expert (so I could be totally wrong), but I think Nazim will have Mosley fight with a different strategy every 3 rounds; thus making him less susceptible to Floyd figuring him out. Each of those strategies will have a back up of 2 further strategies. ****, I bet Nazim has played out a million scenarios for this fight.

Man this is so intriguing! I can't wait for May 2nd!

True, and unlike Oscar and Hatton, Shane's a real welterweight threat with the speed, power, and aggression those two didn't display. Floyd in his 5 years at Welterweight, has never faced anyone on the level of Shane.

  7. You will have missed the fight if you wait til May 2nd. :yep

Does Mosley have the power to knock anyone out at 147? Yes. Will he knock out Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May the 1st? No.

Dont be too sure of that,it can very well happen

People forget ..Mosley has speed as well, hes not faster then Floyd thats for sure

But he has good speed,he can catch Floyd

People really sleeping on Mosley in this fight.....

I can't see a KO/TKO in this fight. UD for FMJ or split decision for SSM is more likely to happen.
