    Horn thinks he can win.

That's why they'll take the fight.

Horn wants to take on a LHW instead of a 147 pounder and people try and twist it into a duck.

Mundine is 2 x world champion at SMW and has beaten at least 5 other world champions

Shane Mosley = 3 weight world champion
Danny Green = world champion at LHW
Sam Soliman (who Mundine beat x 3) = world champion at MW
Daniel Geale = unified world champion at MW
McKart = world champion at LMW

And very creditable losses against Kessler and Ottke (whom he floored and was beating the brakes off before Ottke snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with a hail Mary come from behind KO). You think Spence is lasting the distance against Kessler and Ottke, let alone making it very competitive or schooling one of them for 99% of the fight?

    Mundine has beaten CWs, too.

Spence has beaten 2 world champions (Algieri and Brook), both of whom were damaged goods and won their world titles all the way down at light-welter and welterweight respectively.

Not mad at a guy going after a payday that Arum won't get him in a Crawford fight. It's not like we expect much from Horn anyway. He is just keeping that belt warm for the first quality guy he fights. If Mundine will give him a big payday, go for it.

Yes but Mundine has been well past it for many years now he was beaten up by Clottey and stopped by Hatley.

It's Johnny Lewis saying this suspects he is struggling to make 147 and was emaciated at the weigh in. Seen it.

Nothing. But Horn can beat Mundine whereas Crawford schools him.

The seen are doing what they always do by drawing on an article that appeared in the Australian media the day before.

All their Joseph Parker stories are done the same way & sourced from the NZ media.

The original article which is the source of Lewis' comments was written by Grantlee Kieza who also wrote Horn's book.

The purpose of the article is to boost Horn's leverage in negotiating the fight with Crawford.

Horn's dramatic weight-loss late in the piece is just how he does things. He did the same against Pac.

He'll stay at welter & defend against Crawford.

Exactly. The offer for Horn to fight Crawford is only $1 million at present.

Horn will ride the welterweight wave for as long as he can.

If he gets dumped when it breaks, he'll paddle back out with a bigger board at junior middle.

Mundine is the harder fight, Crawford's record at welterweight is 0-0, it would be like fighting McGregor, easy work.

Why would he do that if he fights Mundine it would be a non title fight? He hasn't even had the title 6 months yet and isn't ducking anybody it was Manny who knocked back the rematch so instead he easily beat a top 10 ranked opponent. If he is getting paid more to fight Mundine in a catch weight non title fight he would be silly not taking it and I don't see the issue as long as he fights Pac or Crawford next.If Horn does fight Mundine he should be able to defend the title a few months later creating the perfect opportunity to give there potential fight a bit more hype with Crawford having his 1st fight at the weight maybe a title eliminator.
