"Not a myth. He hits even maybe not like a lightheavy but a heavy, I can't say for sure. Gena hits strong, quick and stiff. I can't say how to compare power of a middle/supermiddle/heavy but when he lands his shots on you, you feel damage on your body. In sparrings with him your self defense mechinism starts working at 100% and you get cautious and attentive.
Off course when I came back from Russia untrained I could not work with him at 100% but later when I gained my form we had pretty good sparring sessions where we hit each other like mules, anything could happen in those sessions, I got hit, he got hit. That's it "

Explain. I don't see how a cruiseweight would have a hard time dealing with HW type power in sparring. Were not talking about the same kind of situation with Bradley and Mattyssee so that comparison has already been showed to be ****.
