No problem...George Francis is very rarely talked about and all the work with the ethnic boxers back in the day goes under most peoples radar....... make sure you read it Mandanda!!..:yep

I've never read his book but it's one I definitely want to look up. I really like George Francis and it was very sad what happened to him. He seemed one of life's genuinely good guys but he suffered more than his fair share of life's tragedies. A tragic loss not just for boxing but for humanity as well.

Add Dennis Andries to that list. He looked a different fighter after joining the Kronk. A graet job by Manny especialy considering that Andries was around 36 when they startted working together.

 I think we gotta give Billy his props here he's pretty much put Ricky Burns back on track and got him talking about bigger things.

There's some great shouts coming out of this thread impressed by the knowledge :good

    Burns is a good one.

Breen has got Sinky on form at the moment the thing is how long for again? Can't wait for Sinky Vs Moore its should be a cracking fight

Would Michael Moorer have beaten Holyfield first time around without Teddy Atlas?

A lot of people feel Atlas was detrimental to Moorer in the corner against Foreman and give Teddy a lot of abuse but when it comes to a man planning and analyzing fights he was a top guy back then and i think he was a big help to Moorer and Moorer was a damn good fight just a shame he's a moody fighter. I think he was a positive for Micheal against Evander...maybe others disagree???

Hattons break from Billy Graham probably looks like a bad move now
