Teddy Atlas with Michael Moorer. Moorer was a personality who needed to be told strictly what to do, Teddy did that for him. Lennox Lewis' style improved under Steward no doubt. I believe Lewis got a true professional style under Manny that he did not have before.
Virgil Hunter. He is solely responsible for developing Andre Ward into an Olympic Gold Medalist and an undefeated p4p fighter at a very young age. What other trainer(s) can boast that claim? Develops strategies which Ward carries out to near perfection and defeats opponents with ease.
Angelo for Ray against Hearns will always be the best moment for me. I know Billy Nelson is a superb motivator. Robert McCracken COULD make a difference but Froch never listens to him during a fight!
Kevin Rooney>Mike Tyson Freddie Roach>Manny Pacquiao Angelo Dundee>Ali,SRL Manny Steward> Lewis, Hearns...did a **** poor job with Naseem Hamed, tried to change his unorthadox style, which worked for him, into a boxer who threw straighter punches, from a traditional stance. I agree that Atlas probably did need to gee Moorer up against Holy but sitting on the stool and putting Moorer's crying son on the phone during the fight is just playing up to the cameras...what a dick!!
Biggest con job of all time...shoeshining to win rounds when Hagler was throwing the more hurtful punches....disgraceful decision....don't care what anybody says Hagler won!:deal
Indeed! Wolfe has Kirkland in some crazy shape.. Look at how he came back against Angulo. If he wasn't in tip top shape, he's have been ****ed!
