Tell us more about yourself. Are you...

    -- Height?
    -- Weight?
-- Wide, narrow, or average shoulders?
-- Aggressive or a counter puncher?
-- Heavy hitter, volume puncher, sharp accurate (slick)?
-- Fast, slow, average hand speed?
-- How is your cardio or how many rounds can you work a heavy bag for?
-- Athleticism (footwork) good, poor, average?

Many of these things factor in to making YOU a more effective fighter by using a game plan.

Fastest advice I can give on so little info on corner attacking is to remember to vary they height and angle of shots, i.e., jab, straight, hook low, hook high, upper, hook low, etc... Make it so that he is either protecting his head or his body, frontal shots or wide shots, splitting his guard or hooks around the side, and when he commits to protecting one? You are on to banging the other one.

Also vary timing and hands. Don't always go right, left, right, left. Right, left, right, right, shift to split the guard, left, right, left, left!

6'1 250 and dropping average shoulders aggressive heavy hitter, average to fast speed heavy bag work without dying out 9-11 rounds before literally stopping to a point where i cant lift my arms. decent footwork cuse i did track and football and you need foot work to throw and block but my weight holds me down. Im training at a MMA place for now until i go to school in NYC then ill be at Gleasons in Brooklyn so they should help too but i do get big headed sometimes and rush for an opponent when i knock him into a corner then he gets me my fighting style is too predictable

You have great dimensions. You sound like a beast. It also sounds like you have your mind right as you are aware where your gap is.

I think you sound like you are succumbing to your size and power. That allows you to use adrenaline to muscle guys and walk through shots. Eventually, the shots add up and as fatigue sets in it hits you that you are losing the momentum and getting tagged.

With your size and power? Quality is not much of an issue. If you land? It will hurt a guy. My suggestion is maybe you should slow the pace down and pick QUALITY shots. Rather than letting that rush take over and leave you open to the counter attack? Give yourself a few "tries" then wait to let him attempt to open up. Many times we get focused on "dominating" a guy but we are really just punching his arms and wearing ourselves out.

Try to land the SECOND punch not the first. Throw the first at 3/4 speed and follow up QUICKLY to the spot opened by the first shot. For example, (I am guessing a guy is shelled up in front of you in the corner.) if you want to land an uppercut? Throw a slightly garbage hook at the base of the neck. This should draw his defense off to the side or prompt him to counter. You anticipate this and BANG!

Every shot should go this way setup-MONEY, setup-MONEY, over and over... If you are punching to hurt him and don't vary the attack? He can stand in front of you and roll with your shots on his arms waiting to feast on you after you are done.

You bangin' with cats your size?
