im trying to remember what this little speedy **** at the gym does. obviously left hand high. livers not close fortunately for SPs A big thing he does is put his front foot on the outside(or on top of!) of mine which makes movement and balance confusing. He's good at tying up my front foot basically, foot dominance heh. Then rushing in with power punches if his on the outside while i'm thinking(get him to pick up ppl not thinking quick enough) If I miss a right, he'll rapidly turn square on and do his thing aswell (usually a 1,2 or just a hook and and straight to the body and shoot off into the distance. Actually come to think of it, he actually changes stance and thats sounds logical. I recommend you get him to practice switching stances. Get him to practice those slide left punches where instead of catching the punch you knock it down and slide over the top.easy points, get him throwing feints to the body and capitalizing on lowered lead hand with an overhand right(i mean left) Let him be well aware of the left hook and right hooks because thats rights best punch on a southpaw and one more thing, because left handers should be more confident in attack against a right. Lure righty in for a counter punch. This is some traitor **** right here, i feel ****in dirty now. id just shoot him
Well I consider myself a pretty decent southpaw, first thing I would do is teach him the footwork, staying outside the leadfoot, catching and slipping a jab, how to defend/counter the right cross etc.
