when does everyone get back into training intensively after a fight?

I had a fight on friday 4x2 mins

had saturday off then steady run sunday and went boxing training

monday did some sprints and strength work

    tuesday did some sparring

just been feeling a little run down though so resting today but i think i should be fighting again soon maybe in a few weeks for the championships just wondering if resting to much will be more of a disadvantage than a advantage on my performance?

    any advice?

    thanks a lot :)

If you feel like you can train, train. If you feel run down and **** for a few days, not just a single bad day, then take a few days to a week off. There's no special time to go back to training.

Mmm.. I had a fight in the morning and was back training about 4 hours after that. But that was when I was realy into boxing and fitness.

But yeah, in the amateurs just take a day off max. Gotta keep in good shape. This ain't the pros when you train like a maniac, fight and then rest for a month.
