Hey, i'm wanting to start boxing but i can't have access to a boxing gym till next year, I was wondering if there are any drills and exercises i can do at home while i wait for next year, i also have a heavy bag and speed bag that i can use if that is of any help.

Lots of things you can do on your own
Running , sprinting , jump rope , strengt training , strech a lot
eat right , stay hidrated . Now boxing techniques are best done with coach ofc.
I was same situation when i started and i used videos from this
    chanel to learn basics http://www.youtube.com/user/Rivalbox/videos
my coach was actually pretty impressed with me when i started :D

I'd watch lots of boxing... Observe the science of it. I wouldn't try to learn the basics completely on your own, you can develop bad habits. Just get in the best aerobic shape of your life. Do lots of interval training, jump rope, run, row w/e. Also try to build up strength in your body as a whole. Just go in the best shape humanely possible and that will be a jump start. Try to improve you knowledge of the game at the same time.

Get out and do your roadwork, get some core exercises going aswell and get involved with a little bit of shadow sparring. Make sure you get your fitness to as good as it can be untill next year because it will come in very handy to you. Also ask about, find who has a set of pads in your local area and start training with each other at home, but make sure don't try nothing mad as your a beginner, stick to the basics, perfect that jab before anything else and buy skipping rope and get to that aswell.

Try rossboxing.com for some good workout ideas. Also, you can start to put together your own home gym in your garage, basement, etc.

Unless you want to learn poor technique, avoid anything involving punching until you can get to a gym. Attempting to relearn a movement pattern takes a hell of a lot longer than learning one well the first time.
