lol no problem. but definetly teach good stance and footwork first for a while because if you have bad footwork and stance then noting else goes good. then work on the jab and cross for a while because those two punches alone can win most fights. then work on the defense for those two punches. but only ez ones like catch, block, slip, and knocking out the cross. then you can spar with your cousin but only use jab and cross.

I love boxing like everyone here but i would consider it more a sport. Obviously boxing would help you in a street fight, however wouldnt in her case where its mainly for self defense she be better joining a female combat class or a martial art (the latter being the better if she sticks it out) but i think those female combat classes are good in a way cos she can learn a few tricks to defend herself without a lifelong dedication to the sport. If shes interested in boxing the sport however go for it the more female boxers the better imo:good

Don't take coaching lightly. 2 years of boxing, won't make you qualified to properly train an individual to defend themselves, especially in a street fight. It takes many years of training before you can properly use boxing in a street fighting experiance, especially one that might end up on the ground. If she wants to learn boxing then get her a learn real trainer. I've been boxing for over 8 years and am a certified trainer, when I look back to myself as I was after 2 years of boxing I realize how very little I knew.
By you teaching her all your going to do is give her a false sense of security. Then when she does get into a real fight again she is just going to get hurt even worse.
