Seen loads of arguments where people state Grebs training footage make him look laughable despite probably having the greatest resume in boxing history. Now of course he doesn't look great in the montage but it is only a training video after all. Both seem to have clear balance issues in those vids. And yes, for his resume and talent Greb looks kinda crap, though still better as Wilder in this video comparison. Boxing isn't all on looking fluid and athletic though, or even being it. Boxing is about intangibles. If you have good timing, insight and a very hard punch, you don't really have to box that good to beat a lot of guys in the ring. If you have something special to go with it (as very long reach, a lot of speed, top positioning or a granite chin) you can often make it to world level with these attributes alone, and if you have multiple you're golden. In this day and age a guy like Greb would probably been picked up by a big promoter with a good trainer and become an absolute marvell.

Harry Greb beat Gene Tunney. So as far as this video goes it looks like two friends playing around. Plus anyone who’s ever fought knows that the gym and the real fight are two vastly different stages.
Dont know who has the better training routine, but i do know that if Greb clipped Wilders glass mandible it would shatter Alabama style.
