I do practically all my training in the heat because it's about the only place in or around my house where I can go and not be bothered, if I shadowboxed in the house the dog would try to tear my gloves, my heavybag is stuck outside, so I just go train in the heat. I'm training in 95 degree plus heat, what should I do in preparation for this? Is training in the heat good for me? I make sure to drink lots of water during my training and have a towel around to wipe the sweat off. I do my running, skipping rope, heavybag, stamina drills, everything outdoors. Is there anything else I should be doing by training in the heat and what benefits can training in the heat give me?

training in the heat may benefit you if you are going to fight in heat, otherwise it will only decrease performance, make sure you are well hydrated and if you do a big session make sure to get post workout shake and water, the easiest way is weigh yourself before workout, then after, whatever weight is lost replace with same amount in water as well as shake with protein and carbs

Just over a year ago i was in australia for 4 months. Trained in 40-45 degrees c heat. Its fine but just be carefull drink alot more water than you normally would. One day ( stupidly) id just drank a normal amount of water and went for a 5 mile run on the beach , ended up pissing blood. Doc said it was because of the heat and lack of water! Try and train when its cooler i.e. early morning or evening

Yeah plenty, of water, remember anyone doing heat training to lose weight is only really losing more water compared to moderate temperature training.
