do you think a amateur should train with 2 minute rounds and pro's 3 to get the intensity right or do you think that 3 or 4 the better as long as its intense?

i train all my boxers for 2, but they only get 30 rest. fight specific is, for me, important.

i think three minute rounds for amateurs. i mean if you can go hard in training for three minute rounds then two minute rounds arent a problem in fights and you wont gas out.

training idealyy needs to be fight specific, i understand the school of thought that if you can do three, two will be easy, but it does not work like that. you need tp learn when your heart hits a dead end of 190 bpm,,, and push yourself for the two mins...then in the minute get thr heart rate down to 130 again....
