Okay, so I'm joining a new boxing gym in town.
And I've seen the schedule, and I train Tue,Wed,Thu... I am a bit sceptical about training three days in a row and then "resting" from Thu to Mo.
A more suitable schedule for me would be Monday,Wed,Fri...
    Whats your thoughts on this?
I want to do some strength training too, and it's gonna be hard to fit that in with this boxing schedule.

This is my schedule right now:
three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
    10x3 chins
    10x3 pull ups
    20x4 push ups
    15x3 diamond pushups
    15x3 wide pushups
    30s x3 crunches
    30s x3 crunches on sides

And finish off doing 15 minutes on the bike 130bpm (pulse training)
Will add long distanced jogging when the heat comes back to Sweden :yep
    -

So.. with boxing Tue,Wed,Thu, how will I be able to keep up w/ this?
    Any help/advice is appreciated.

    Okay, cool.
I will have to remove one day of strength training then I suppose.

Lets just say I thought I could do three days of strength training :D
I'm too lazy right now to train on Saturday or Sunday
And unfortunately, I am not in control of the schedule :(

You would be able to train harder if your training days were spaced out.

Yes you will be able to train harder if you space out your training. How come pro's train twice a day?

They have rare schedules.. they sleep like three times per day.
At least those who are serious :good

I doubt they are sleeping three times a day. And I have not seen any info that naps will decrease recovery time.

Most top pros have been boxing for a very long time; and have very specifically tailored training regimes. The reason they can work out two times a day is because they're overall conditioning and experience, along with the diet they have and the supplements they take, allow them to recover and work out 3-5 hours a day.

I know quite a few good professional fighters.
They do sleep a lot, but then again.. I am talking of those who are actually fighting for big money. The naps help them relax and it does help you recover, other then that there's a lot of massage.

It's all relative. I'm not saying days off are mandatory, just that if you're going to have days off they should be spread out to maximise the effect of the training days.
