Do you know of any unusual or unconventional training techniques some boxers were or still are using before fights ?

Also have you heard of boxers with certain eating habits or nutritional methods during training camp, that really stand out from the norm ?

Are you referring to the dieting routine of cutting weight?

Its not unusual or unconventional but a lot of people don't seem to take shadow boxing seriously. Think about what situations you'll face in fighting or sparring and then plan how you'll react through shadowboxing. Better than trying to remember a load of tactics of the top of your head when someones throwing punches at you and you're pumped full of adrenaline.:)
