You're missing the point completely. Yes, Jmm would be faster and more mobile at 130 or 135, but so would Floyd. Floyd's handspeed, reach, defense, reflexes, and footspeed would all be a serious problem for JMM no matter what the weight class. JMM simply does not have the attributes to compete with Mayweather. You take any version of JMM you want at and put him up against the 130 lb. or 135 lb. version of Floyd and he gets his ass kicked still.

the size was a huge factor though, JMM is a counter puncher and he was forced to come forward or eat that jab all night. Once he did that he was out of his element against a bigger faster stronger better fighter.

One thing you can say though is there was zero ring rust on Floyd, he looked very good now on to fight either Pac for the pub. or Mosely and Williams for a challenge:lol:

    No, I agree.

I just don't see the fight at 130lbs being as much of a mismatch as that of 147lbs, like WWM said.
Whilst Floyd was faster at 130lbs, percentagewise JMM lost more going up than Floyd.

I see JMM being more competetive throughout, but losing a lopsided decision, still.

You're my boy but Charlie isn't a hater. He's usually spot on with most of his analysis although a bit off with this one. He's a good poster.

this is a total different fight at 130-135 5 years ago. Marquez is natural there, and Mayweather is a full fledged welter, believe it or not. Thats way he wont even bother to make 144.

Of course he'd get his ass kicked their too because it wasn't his prime weight. He only had 3 title fights at 130 at the age of 34 and SD loss in one of them to Pac.

I doubt most of the posters on this forum have ever seen a prime Marquez at 126.

AHAHAA! I'm a hater? You ****in cornball. EVERYONE is a hater to you b/c you are so far up Floyd's anal cavity that you have a hard time seeing the light. All you know is the physcial demensions of Floyd's testicles, which doesn't equate you knowing the sport of boxing. You Clown ass nuthugger!:rofl

I give credit to both aggression and effectiveness....but when one is only effective in spots and one is pushing the action and making the fight then you have to weigh out the difference.

I'm not saying Floyd didn't win most of the round numbnuts...but coming from your fantasy boyfriend in Floyd...>Rick gave him his hardest challenge..From his own mouth. I knew Floyd would win, I just thought he'd have an easy time like PAC did.:D But they are completly differnent styles! Which means their performances will differ based on whom they are facing.

I don't know **** about boxing? I'll be that homie. Coming from you it means about as much as a ***** claiming she's a virgin. Go back to sucking on on floyd's sack.....Cornball.:rofl

I didn't give Ricky many rounds...maybe 2 or at most 3. I knew Floyd would win and wasn't getting hit, but I recall hearing that Rick was ahead on score cards at one point by the judges (again....I didn't agree). I could be wrong but the point of the matter is people are drawing straws here. Comparing JMM vs Floyd against PAC vs JMM and coming up with some BS that b/c FLoyd did this to JMM and PAC did not, that PAC would suffer the same kind of domination which is laughable. They (Clowns) who are comparing those two performances to figure out how PAC vs Floyd will play out is like comparing apples to oranges.

Which is the only reason I brought up DLH and Ricky....B/c floyd and PAC both faught these two fighters with far different results. You can't compare how two completely seperate fighters perform against the same opponent and expect to know how they'd fare against one anther. It's insanity yet there are a bunch of insane nuthuggers on here. So I'm not surprised.

****, you can take JMM on his best day and pit him against Floyd at 128 and JMM still gets handled. I've seen JMM at 126.

My man! See....this is the **** I gotta deal with from posters that are riding certian fighters dick and not really a fan of the sport. I don't mind a disagreement.

Everyone has their own opinions and we disagree at times, but you back **** up with "why" you are on the opposite side of the fence which it usually enlightening. If I'm wrong, then I'll be the first to admit it, but give me somthing to think about, not some ol' bull**** that is based on being a fan of one fighter rather than a fan of the sport.
